The oldest Finnish-language choir, Ylioppilaskunnan Laulajat (YL Male Voice Choir), performed for the first time in the spring of 2024 a concert titled Uutta (New), which showcases the freshest compositions in choir music. The concert, intended to become an annual tradition, required a visual identity that honors the choir’s long and rich history while also representing its vision for the future of choir music. I designed the identity with a 3D element modeled after the choir’s historic logo, combined with typography inspired by the choir’s stage arrangement.
